Cooked Linseed Meal

Protein is essential for egg production, maintaining body condition, and promoting feather growth especially during or after a moult.  Studies have demonstrated that feeding chickens with linseed omega 3 results in higher levels of this nutrient in their eggs, which is also providing us with added health benefits.

It also ads flavour to your hens everyday layers pellets or meal and enhances the nutritional value of other basic feeds.

Adding linseed (flaxseed) to chicken feed has long been known to promote shiny, healthy feathers and strengthen their resistance to scaly leg. This is due to the natural balance of essential fatty acids, particularly omega-3, which also boosts their immune system.

It is important to feed the correct amount to your chickens. 

Use: 10g per 1kg of feed - A little goes a long way!
